# The Spring Feasts, for Easter

**In one sentence:** God wrote the spring feasts into Israel's calendar and kept each one in His Son
Jesus, the Passover lamb slain, raised as the firstfruits of the dead, who poured out the Spirit at
Weeks, so the Easter you keep rests on dates God set and kept.

Start six weeks before Easter Sunday so that Firstfruits, the resurrection week, falls on Easter.
The first three weeks stay on the night of the Passover, from Egypt to the upper room to the
Lord's table, before moving through the feasts in the order of Leviticus 23.
