Copyright & Scripture Permissions
This site quotes Scripture from several translations, and draws on lexicons, commentaries and linguistic datasets. The notices below are the ones those publishers require, gathered in one place. Individual studies also name the translation at each quotation.

Commentaries and reference works
Where a study draws on a copyrighted commentary, study Bible, lexicon or dictionary — the ESV Study Bible, the NIV and NKJV Cultural Backgrounds Study Bible, the NIV Biblical Theology Study Bible, the CSB Ancient Faith Study Bible, the NLT Life Application Study Bible, the NLT Christian Basics Bible, the Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament, or a named monograph — the work is credited in that study's own References & Recommended Reading section. Such material is used only in brief, attributed quotation or synthesized into original prose. The notes, articles, charts and introductions in those editions are separately copyrighted from the Bible text they accompany, and no part of them is reproduced here at length.
